User Management

This guide will walk you through the process of adding users, editing user details, and resetting user credentials.

Prerequisites

  • You have an existing ACRA account.
  • You must be logged in to your account.
  • You must be a maintainer.

Add Users

Add users manually with their name, email, and role

Or you can import users in bulk using a csv file.

Note

The CSV file must contain the following columns:

  • FirstName
  • LastName
  • Email

e.g. John,Doe,john.doe@example.com

Edit User Details

As a Maintainer, you can edit user details from the Users tab.

Open the overflow menu for the desired user to update their name, email, or role.

User Roles

Maintainers: can manage Applications, Users, and Private Spaces on the platform, but can only enter a Private Space if they are a member.

Residents: can create and use Private Spaces.

External Users: can only join Private Spaces which they are invited to.

Resend Invitation Email

For pending users, open the overflow menu for the desired user to resend their invitation email.

You may need to perform this action if their join link expired.

Reset User Credentials

For existing users, Open the overflow menu for the desired user to send them a login credentials reset email.

You may choose to reset the user’s password, authenticator devices, and/or passkeys.
