Create a private space
This guide will walk you through the process of creating a new private space, adding users, and setting permissions.
Prerequisites
- You have an existing ACRA account.
- You must be logged in to your account.
Set Name and Description
To create a new private space, select the button in the top right and follow the creation instructions. Advanced settings can be used to create a custom sub-domain for the private space.
INFO
Private spaces are virtual enclaves which separate your workflows, data, and communications. You might have separate private spaces for different clients, teams, or projects.

Add users
Select space owners and invite users. You can only add users how have joined the ACRA platform.
Note
Space owners have elevated permissions and can manage access to the private space.

Add Applications
Select which applications to enable in the private space.

Enter Private Space
Enter the Private Space.

Set Member Permissions
Use the members tab to set permissions for each user. Granular access control is available within each application.

TIP
- Owners: have control of the Private Space, its Users, and can access activity logs.
- Contributors: have general access to the Private Space and can create content e.g. meetings, chats, files.
- Guests: can only access resources to which they are explicitly permitted.
